As mentioned, I started this website in 1999. Even back then, in the "dark ages", most of the good domain names were taken. I started going down the list of interesting adjective-noun-names and eventually settled on soggycat. The name stuck with me, as we used to have a long-hair cat named coco, who had the frequent mis-fortune of being caught outside in rainstorms. She often had that sad, soaked look about her: hence the name "soggycat". ::home::
